About today's trip

Welcome aboard Quicksilver Cruises!

Today’s journey will take Agincourt Reef at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Here special reefs known as the “ribbons” run parallel to the Continental Shelf.

These ribbon reefs are recognised as the most pristine eco-systems in the reef ’s environment. Clear waters provides the best possible underwater visibility, encourages rich coral growth and supports spectacular marine life.

The entire Great Barrier Reef is a World Heritage area and part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. All fish, corals, shells and other marine life are protected by law. It is illegal to take anything from the reef. Please take only photographs.

Please do not touch or feed any wildlife. Fish feeding is strictly controlled.

We recommend that you swim at least one metre away from coral to prevent accidental breakage and damage to these delicate living creatures. Thank you for helping us to preserve this magnificent natural wonder of the world. If you have any questions, please ask one of our friendly crew.

Enjoy your visit to the beautiful Great Barrier Reef!
